How should I transition my baby from a bottle to a cup?

Most infants are curious and want to drink from regular cups like those around them. Some parents transition their baby right from breast to cup skipping the bottle phase which is ok as well. It may be easier to wean before 24 months as this age group tends to have strong mindsets making it more of a challenge, especially if this is their source of comfort. Encourage your baby to watch you and the family at the dinner table drinking from your cups and have an infant friendly cup available so they can try too.
