Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Pie Blondies

This whole foods based blondie recipe is great for Halloween and easy enough for the kids to help make!

Time commitment

Prep Time: 15 minutes            Cook time: 45 minutes        Servings: 16 (or less)


1 ½ cups pumpkin puree (canned works best)

½ cup coconut oil, melted

2 eggs

½ cup coconut flour, sifted

¾ cup raw honey

1 Tbsp. cinnamon

2 tsp. ground ginger

½ tsp. nutmeg

½ - 1 cup dark chocolate chips (or some dark chocolate chopped into small chunks)

2 Tbsp. coconut sugar

Kitchen utensils

Measuring spoons

Measuring cups

Spatula, wooden spoon or wax paper

Mixing bowl

Baking pan


  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Grease an 8×8 baking pan with some extra coconut oil.
  3. Mix all the ingredients except for the coconut sugar together in a large bowl until well combined.
  4. Pour mixture into prepared pan.
  5. Sprinkle with the coconut sugar.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
